Sketchy Sketch Face'n
I can relate with Mrs. Thomas Goulding's expression that Charles Elliott so carefully painted in competition with the daguerreotpye in 1858.
For me, and seemingly the majority of the population, it represents a line by line, unpleasing and dissenting look that these hard economic times have brought to the years of 2011, 2010, and 2009!
I'm ready for the new year and new beginnings in Birmingham!
Happy New Year's Eve everybody!

Spotlight Peanuts
Here are some happy little peanuts that I sketched out today. They enjoyed the attention. My little Jack Russell terrier bestowed some pretty intense attention to the peanuts as well. He actually did a stealth mode pass and surreptitiously scarfed down one of the nuts before I noticed! RIP little nut.
More importantly, RIP Mr. Art Clokey, the creator of Gumby. He was 88 and passed in his sleep Friday night.
